I don’t know when things changed between us.
I was so infatuated with you once.
You seemed so smart. You valued learning and justice, ideals I care about, too.
But lately, everything you do makes me want to pierce my eardrums with sharp pencils.
Your voice! From the first syllable you utter, I just want to scream.
You make the simplest problems seem nearly impossible to solve.
I think it’s time to say good-bye.
I don’t know how the kids will take it, but, Wyatt, our relationship is O-V-E-R.
Find those super letters, pal.

aww..poor wyatt!! i love super why!! but then again, my son is more obsessed w/spongebob. who, by the way, i can’t stand.
Too funny! I know the feeling. My kids will get hooked on a show. It’ll be educational, fun – why wouldn’t I want them to watch it? Because, over and over, ad nauseum, goofy, silly, chirpy voices. All. The. Time. When you’re done with those pencils toss ‘em over this way!
At first I thought you might be talking about Obama. LOL
You have to learn to do something other thab watch their shows.
HA HA HA Voodoomama!
I’m ticked off with them because when I draw on a good tale to make a point to Annie she already knows the story- but in a more annoying fashion. “Oh I know that one! But they couldn’t start the race until the Supereaders found the letters to the GO sign!”
Bah Humbug Slow and steady wins the race kid. Remember THAT. dangit.
Voodoo Mama and Kerry: It’s cruel to turn a girl’s blog against her.
Amen sister!!! He is so annoying, but my little guy loves it.
“To the bookclub!” (And stay there!)
Just stumbled on this post through your link today and had a good laugh. Thanks!
